Yume Tashakar Day Celebrated with Zeal in Bern, Switzerland
Switzerland, (By: Imran Muzammal) __ On Friday, May 16th, the Pakistani community in Switzerland observed Yume Tashakar Day with great enthusiasm and national pride in the capital city of Bern. The event was graced by the presence of Pakistan’s Ambassador to Switzerland, Dr. Marghoob Saleem Butt, who addressed the audience with a powerful and heartfelt speech.
In his remarks, the Ambassador strongly condemned India’s unprovoked aggression and praised the professionalism, discipline, and restraint shown by Pakistan’s Armed Forces—particularly the Air Force—in defending the beloved homeland. He paid rich tribute to the martyrs who laid down their lives in the line of duty, offering the ultimate sacrifice for the nation. He prayed that Allah Almighty grants them a place in Jannat-ul-Firdous and bestows patience and strength upon their families.
Members of the Pakistani diaspora from various Swiss cities participated in the event and expressed their deep love and commitment to Pakistan. They shared their thoughts and emotions, reaffirming their unshakable bond with their motherland.
The ceremony concluded with special prayers for the peace, prosperity, and stability of Pakistan, as well as for the eternal reward of the martyrs. The atmosphere was filled with unity, reverence, and devotion to the homeland.
