Sitara Innovations Presents My Digital Care to 300+ Participants at Faisalabad Medical College

Brussels/Faisalabad, (Unib Rashid) – Sitara Innovations has presented its digital healthcare platform, My Digital Care, to more than 300 medical students, faculty members, doctors and management representatives at Aziz Fatimah Medical & Dental College, Faisalabad, highlighting the potential of technology to improve patient care and strengthen Pakistan’s healthcare system.

Nadeem Ahmad, Group Chief Executive Officer of Sitara Innovations, shared the development in a LinkedIn post, describing the session as an opportunity to introduce the platform to healthcare professionals and gather valuable feedback from participants.

Ahmad said digitalisation could help bring patients, doctors and hospitals closer by making the healthcare experience more seamless, from initial consultation to follow-up care.

He added that the initiative was guided by the vision of Sitara Innovations Chairman Muhammad Adrees, who places patient care at the centre of the organisation’s approach to digital healthcare.

Highlighting the challenges facing Pakistan’s medical workforce, Ahmad pointed to the need for technology-driven solutions that could help doctors manage their time more effectively, expand access to healthcare and create flexible opportunities for women doctors to remain professionally active.

According to figures cited in his post, approximately 22,000 doctors graduate in Pakistan each year, while women account for more than 70 per cent of medical students. He also highlighted concerns about women doctors leaving or not entering clinical practice and the emigration of medical professionals.

Ahmad said digital healthcare platforms could enable doctors to provide services remotely, reduce administrative burdens and help hospitals and clinics improve their operational efficiency. AI-enabled tools, he added, could also create opportunities for Pakistani doctors to serve patients internationally while working from Pakistan.

He further highlighted the growing economic potential of digital healthcare, linking the development of health technology to Pakistan’s broader digital economy and the expansion of its information technology exports.

My Digital Care is intended to support a connected, data-driven and patient-centred approach to healthcare management, according to Ahmad.

He thanked SCIL and the management of Aziz Fatimah Medical & Dental College for facilitating the session, as well as participants who contributed questions and feedback.

The presentation reflects growing interest in digital health solutions that can connect patients, medical professionals and healthcare institutions. Their wider impact will depend on effective implementation, patient accessibility, data protection and integration with existing healthcare services.
