Islamabad/Brussels, (Unib Rashid) – Shehbaz Sharif held a meeting with Reza Amiri Moghadam, Ambassador of the Iran, to discuss the evolving regional situation and ongoing peace efforts amid heightened geopolitical tensions.
According to an official statement, the Iranian envoy called on the prime minister at his office, where both sides exchanged views on recent developments in the region and underscored the importance of dialogue and diplomacy for ensuring lasting peace and stability.

The prime minister reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to supporting peaceful initiatives and promoting constructive engagement to reduce tensions. He emphasized that dialogue remains the only viable path to resolving conflicts and achieving sustainable regional harmony.
Ambassador Moghadam appreciated Pakistan’s role in facilitating diplomatic efforts and acknowledged its consistent stance in favor of peace and stability. Both sides agreed on the need for continued engagement and closer coordination to address shared challenges.
