Islamabad/Brussels, (Unib Rashid) – The Special Investment Facilitation Council-facilitated EU-Pakistan Business Forum 2026 is set to take place on April 28–29, 2026, in Islamabad, marking a significant step toward strengthening economic ties between Pakistan and the European Union.
Shehbaz Sharif has welcomed the first-ever high-level EU-Pakistan Business Forum, describing it as a “historic and timely initiative” and a platform to move from “dialogue to deal-making.”

According to officials, the forum will focus on fostering collaboration across six priority sectors, while tapping into a combined market of nearly 700 million people. The event aims to promote investment, enhance trade relations, and create new avenues for economic cooperation.
The forum is being viewed as a key milestone in building an enduring and mutually beneficial economic partnership between Pakistan and the European Union, with expectations of concrete business engagements and long-term collaboration.
