President Zardari Pays Tribute to Armed Forces and Martyrs on First Anniversary of “Maarka-e-Haq”

Islamabad/Brussels, (Unib Rashid) – President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari paid tribute to the country’s armed forces and martyrs on the first anniversary of “Maarka-e-Haq,” reaffirming Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to defending its sovereignty, water rights, and regional peace through strength, unity, and responsible diplomacy.

In his message marking the occasion, President Zardari praised the courage, sacrifice, and professionalism of Pakistan’s armed forces, stating that the nation takes immense pride in the bravery of its soldiers and the sacrifices rendered by the martyrs in safeguarding the country’s security and territorial integrity.

The President said the anniversary of “Maarka-e-Haq” serves as a reminder of the resilience and unity demonstrated by the Pakistani nation in the face of challenges. He emphasized that Pakistan remains fully prepared to defend its sovereignty and national interests while continuing to pursue peace and stability in the region through constructive engagement and diplomacy.
