Brussels, (Unib Rashid) – The Embassy of Pakistan in Brussels organized Pakistan Festival 2026 today at Palais Agora, near the iconic Grand Place in the heart of Brussels, bringing together a vibrant celebration of Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage, traditions, cuisine, tourism and commercial potential.
The day‑long festival offered Belgian and international visitors, members of the diplomatic community, officials from European Institutions, and the Pakistani diaspora, an engaging opportunity to experience Pakistan’s diverse traditions, craftsmanship, and artistic expressions. Exhibits featured traditional cuisine, handicrafts, jewellery, attire, and informative material on Pakistan’s tourism destinations and economic opportunities.

A special feature of the festival was the live music programme, which added to the festive atmosphere and provided visitors with an authentic experience of Pakistan’s vibrant musical traditions.
Speaking on the occasion, Ambassador of Pakistan to Belgium, Luxembourg and the European Union H.E. Rahim Hayat Qureshi, welcomed the enthusiastic participation of the Belgian public, international visitors and the Pakistani community.
He said that Pakistan Festival was a celebration of the deep cultural richness and diversity of Pakistan and an effort to build greater people-to-people understanding between Pakistan and Europe.
The event attracted a large number of visitors throughout the day, who warmly appreciated the diversity of Pakistani culture, cuisine, music and craftsmanship. The enthusiastic response reflected the deep interest of yhe European audience in Pakistan’s cultural heritage and its potential as a destination for tourism, trade and investment.

The Pakistan Festival 2026 reaffirmed the Embassy’s commitment to using cultural diplomacy and public outreach to foster greater mutual understanding, friendship and closer ties between the people of Pakistan, Belgium and the wider European community.
