Overseas Pakistanis Express Strong Solidarity with Pakistan Armed Forces at First Anniversary Ceremony in Paris.

Paris, (Sultan Mehmood) – A grand and dignified ceremony was held in Paris, France, to mark the first anniversary of the “Battle of Truth,” bringing together prominent political, social, journalistic, and community figures from across the Pakistani diaspora. The event was organized by Sardar Zahoor Iqbal, Chairman of Pakistan Business Forum France. Representing the Embassy of Pakistan, Defence Attaché Bilal Saleem and Naval Attaché Imran Javed attended the ceremony as special guests.

A delegation of senior journalists from the Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ), visiting from Pakistan, also participated in the event, adding to its significance. Distinguished members of the Pakistani community from various walks of life attended in large numbers.

Addressing the gathering, host and Chairman Pakistan Business Forum France Sardar Zahoor Iqbal congratulated Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir on the success of the operation. He stated that following this achievement, the reputation of the Pakistani passport had improved internationally and was now viewed with greater respect at airports around the world. He emphasized that overseas Pakistanis stand shoulder to shoulder with Pakistan’s armed forces in defending the dignity and sovereignty of the homeland.

President of the National Press Club Islamabad, Abdul Razzaq Sayal, described the operation as a historic moment that enabled the nation to hold its head high before the world. He said the Pakistan Armed Forces had brought pride to the nation by defeating the enemy’s hostile intentions.

Founder of Pakistan Press Club Paris France, Sahibzada Atiq-ur-Rehman, remarked that despite differences with certain institutions or individuals, all overseas Pakistanis remain united like a fortified wall when it comes to the defense of Pakistan and stand firmly under the national flag.

Senior journalist Rana Azeem praised the role of the Pakistan Army, stating that Pakistan had gained unprecedented international respect after the operation. He credited the political leadership, military institutions, and particularly Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for this achievement.

Kashmiri leader Naeem Chaudhry paid tribute to Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and the Pakistan Armed Forces. Senior journalist Shakeel Ahmed stated that 250 million Pakistanis stand united like a solid wall against the enemies of Pakistan, and anyone attempting to challenge this unity would fail.

Senior journalist G.M. Jamali said that under the leadership of Field Marshal Asim Munir, the Pakistan Armed Forces had written a historic chapter in military history.

Female journalist Javeria Siddique said that during the operation, the bravery and sacrifices of Pakistan’s armed forces shattered the enemy’s hostile designs. Defence Attaché Bilal Saleem highlighted the professionalism, dedication, and sacrifices of the armed forces in safeguarding the nation’s borders.

Founder President of Pakistan Business Forum France, Haji Muhammad Aslam Chaudhry, also paid tribute to the Pakistan Armed Forces and thanked all guests for their participation, describing the successful event as a reflection of the unity of the overseas Pakistani community.

Participants termed the operation a golden chapter in Pakistan’s military history, stating that the success had elevated Pakistan’s standing among the nations of the world. Speakers noted that the Pakistan Armed Forces had once again proven their commitment to the defense of the homeland and fulfilled the trust of the nation on every front.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, a cake was cut to celebrate the first anniversary of the operation, followed by a lavish dinner for the guests. Special prayers were also offered for the peace, progress, and stability of Pakistan.
