Brussels, (Unib Rashid) — With the support of the European Union, a state-of-the-art Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Centre of Excellence for women has been established at the Institute of Management Sciences (IMSciences) in Peshawar.
Over the next two years, 1,000 women from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will receive free training in IT and high-tech skills through this centre and its extended network.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Suhail Afridi and the European Union’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Dr. Riina Kionka.
