Vienna : The Embassy of Austria-Pakistan held a Black Day event against Indian aggression in Kashmir, which was attended by members of the Pakistani and Kashmiri communities. The speakers who spoke in it include Imran Ali Mughal, General Secretary of Pakistan Community Forum Austria, Dr. Prof. Mudassar Awan, Director of Minhaj Ul-Quran International Austria, Prof.Shaukat Awan, Chairman of Kashmir Affairs Committee and Allama Ghulam Mustafa Baloch, President of Pak Friend’s Austria. Were In their speeches, the speakers said that the case of Kashmir is not only the case of Muslims, it is the case of humanity. That India is committing the worst violation of human rights in Occupied Kashmir.
The speakers further said that the majority of Kashmiris is being reduced by India amending the constitution. That they will not sit down until Jammu and Kashmir is freed from the slavery of India. The speakers also urged the international community to end its criminal silence on Indian atrocities in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and take practical steps to compel India to grant Kashmiris their right to self-determination in accordance with UN Security Council resolutions.
It should be noted that on 27 October 1947, India illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir against the wishes of the Kashmiris by sending troops to Srinagar airport in open violation of the partition plan of the subcontinent.
After that, Adeel Ahmad Khan Charged Affaires (Deputy Head of Mission) read out the messages of President of Pakistan Arif Alvi and Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif. He further said that on this day, India had landed its forces in Srinagar to suppress, frighten, subjugate the innocent people of Jammu and Kashmir and occupy Kashmir.
The Kashmiri nation is constantly suffering from Indian aggression and oppression, now it is the duty of the international community to resolve the Kashmir issue immediately and give the Kashmiri people the right to vote in accordance with the United Nations resolutions.
