Vienna, (Muhammad Amir Siddique) – The Board of Governors of the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA), Vienna, has appointed Dr. Mr Tafakhar Ali Asdi, Deputy Auditor General of Pakistan,as Independent External Auditor for 2028–2030. This is a testament to Pakistan’s professional excellence and commitment to transparency, accountability and good governance.

Dr. Mr Tafakhar Ali Asdi, He has been fulfilling his responsibilities in various high-ranking positions in Pakistan. Additional Director General ( Budget). Education: M.Phil. Anthropology, Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. 2019-2021. He has also discharged responsibilities as a officer of the Pakistan Audit and Accounts Service, Islamabad. He is counted among Pakistan’s most capable officers who, through their hard work and dedication, have always paved the way for the country’s progress.

IACA is governed by a Board consisting of 11 members, all of whom serve in their individual capacity. Nine members of the Board of Governors are elected by the Assembly of Parties.

In addition, UNODC and the Republic of Austria are each entitled to appoint one member. All regional groups are represented on the Board.
