Raja Sikander Khan Thanks Muslim Hands and HUBCO Laraib Energy for New Water Filtration Plant in Banni, AJK

LONDON, (TW NEWS) – Chairman Global Pak Kashmir Supreme Council Raja Sikander Khan has expressed his sincere gratitude to Muslim Hands Mirpur, in collaboration with HUBCO Laraib Energy (Pvt.) Ltd., for successfully completing a new water filtration plant at Government Middle School Banni, Khari Sharif, District Mirpur, Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK).

Last year, Raja Sikander Khan, accompanied by President Global Pak Kashmir Supreme Council AJK Chapter Syed Shabbir Ahmed, visited the Muslim Hands Regional Office in Mirpur. During the visit, they requested the installation of a new water filtration plant at Government Middle School Banni to provide students and the surrounding community with safe and clean drinking water.

At the meeting, Executive Manager Muslim Hands Mohammad Suleman and Public Relations Manager Raja Qamar Atta assured Raja Sikander Khan that the request would be addressed and the project completed as soon as possible.

That commitment has now been fulfilled. The new water filtration plant has been successfully completed, providing free access to safe and clean drinking water for students and thousands of people in Banni and surrounding communities.

The plant was inaugurated by Major (Retd.) Sohail Aslam Gill, Manager Administration & CSR, Laraib Energy, in the presence of community members, teachers and students of Government Middle School Banni. The inauguration marked an important step towards improving access to safe drinking water for the school and local community.

Raja Sikander Khan warmly thanked Muslim Hands Mirpur, particularly Mohammad Suleman and Raja Qamar Atta, as well as HUBCO Laraib Energy (Pvt.) Ltd., for their valuable cooperation and commitment to this important community initiative.

This project reflects the positive impact that collaboration between community representatives, charitable organisations and corporate partners can have in improving the lives of local people.

Together, we continue working towards safer water, healthier communities and a brighter future across AJK.
