Brussels, (Unib Rashid) — Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, held a telephone conversation today with the European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs, Kaja Kallas.
During the call, both leaders exchanged views on the evolving regional situation, including its economic and broader implications.
The EU’s High Representative appreciated Pakistan’s continued constructive and facilitative role in promoting regional peace and stability. Senator Ishaq Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to encouraging dialogue and engagement in this regard.
He also welcomed the recent successful holding of the EU–Pakistan Business Forum in Islamabad. Both leaders underscored the forum’s role in strengthening partnerships and unlocking new business opportunities.
They also agreed to remain in close contact.
