The “Federation for World Peace – UPF Austria” organized breakfast meeting Passover – Easter – Ramadan Fasting

The “Federation for World Peace – UPF Austria” organized together with the Women’s Federation and the Family Federation Interfaith breakfast meeting Passover – Easter – RamadanFasting – deliverance – new beginning – resurrection on Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 9:00 a.m Seidengasse 28 in 1070 Vienna.

A large number of Muslims, Jews and Christians participated in this program.The purpose of the program was to convey messages regarding humanity and peace in the world. Also Contributions by Jewish, Christian and Muslim representatives.

Speakers from different religions were included in this program. Jewish:Warren Rosenzweig,Catholic:Pater Engelbert Jestl and Muslim:Prof. Dr. Mohamed Bassam Kabbani. On the occasion, the speakers told about their respective festivals and talked about humanity, how we should live together. Further, they said that only one thing is mentioned in all the heavenly books that we are the people of peace. Living together should live together.

(Passover) is one of the central festivals of Judaism. It commemorates the exodus from Egypt, i.e. the liberation of the Israelites from slavery there.

(Ramadan) is the month of fasting for Muslims and the ninth month of the Islamic lunar calendar. According to Islamic belief, the Koran was sent down in it. With the beginning of the tenth month of Shawwal , which is also determined by the sighting of the new crescent moon or, in case of doubt, Ramadan is extended to thirty days, the festival of breaking the fast ( Eid ul-fitr ) is celebrated.
