Once again, Quetta has been drenched in blood.
Once again, a peaceful journey turned into an irreversible nightmare within seconds. The railway tracks that should have carried families safely to their destinations instead became scenes of devastation, smoke, fire, and shattered human lives. Innocent passengers—men, women, elderly citizens, and even young children—were caught in a moment of horror that changed everything forever.

Once again, innocent dreams have been shattered on railway tracks. People who had set out with hope in their hearts—hopes of reuniting with loved ones, attending family gatherings, or simply returning home after a long journey—were instead confronted with panic, chaos, and unbearable loss. The cries of the injured, the silence of those who could not survive, and the confusion of rescue efforts all together formed a scene that words can hardly fully capture.

Once again, mothers have been deprived of their sons, children have lost their fathers, and countless families have been pushed into lifelong grief, pain, and irreversible loss. This recent train blast has shaken not only Balochistan but the entire country to its core. It is yet another painful reminder that terrorism does not merely take lives—it wounds the very soul of a nation.

Those passengers who were traveling home, carrying hopes of reuniting with loved ones, and holding small gifts for their children, suddenly became victims of a horrifying explosion. In moments, screams, smoke, blood, and chaos spread everywhere. Some kept calling for help while injured, others fell into eternal silence, and many families are still uncertain about the fate of their loved ones.

This was not just an attack on a train—it was an attack on humanity, peace, national unity, and the future of Pakistan. The perpetrators once again revealed that they seek nothing but fear, instability, hatred, and destruction on this land. Sadly, after every such tragedy, there is noise, condemnation, and statements for a few days, but with time, silence covers the wounds, while the affected families continue to live with lifelong grief.

The people of Balochistan have lived for decades in an environment of bloodshed, fear, and uncertainty. They are as much citizens of Pakistan as anyone else, and their dreams are just as valuable as those living in major cities. Unfortunately, their suffering is often lost in the noise of national priorities. It is now time to move beyond condolence statements and provide Balochistan with lasting peace, development, trust, employment, and a true sense of inclusion, so that its people feel equally safe and respected within the state.

There is no doubt that our brave Armed Forces of Pakistan, especially the Pakistan Army, along with the police, FC, Rangers, and other law enforcement agencies, are playing a pivotal and historic role in the fight against terrorism.
Thousands of officers and soldiers have sacrificed their lives so that peace may prevail in Pakistan, civilians may remain safe, and enemy forces may fail in their malicious designs.

Their blood is a guarantee of the country’s security, stability, and survival. The entire nation salutes these sacrifices and deeply respects their courage, dedication, and patriotism.
However, the Quetta train tragedy is also a reminder that hostile elements still aim to disrupt Pakistan’s peace, prosperity, and national unity—especially at a time when Eid-ul-Adha is approaching and public movement, shopping, and gatherings increase across the country. Therefore, the time demands extraordinary vigilance, strengthened intelligence coordination, strict monitoring, and immediate preventive measures to neutralize any possible threat before it materializes.

Railway stations, bus terminals, livestock markets, bazaars, mosques, imambargahs, Eidgahs, and all public places must be placed under strict and enhanced security arrangements.

The enemy seeks to create fear and division within Pakistan, but the nation has complete confidence in its security forces, who continue to stand on the front lines, sacrificing their comfort and lives for the safety of the country.

At the same time, public cooperation is equally essential. The fight against terrorism is not the responsibility of institutions alone—it is a shared national duty. Every citizen must remain vigilant, report suspicious activities, cooperate with law enforcement agencies, and reject misinformation and hate propaganda. True strength against terrorism lies not only in weapons but in national unity, awareness, and collective resolve.

Today, there is a pressing need for the nation to rise above political divisions, hatred, and confrontation, and focus on Pakistan’s stability, security, and economic recovery.

Political leadership must also place national interest above personal gain, temporary political advantage, and power struggles. A weak, divided, and economically unstable state becomes an easy target for terrorist elements. If Pakistan is to be made truly strong and secure, political stability, economic progress, national unity, and institutional harmony are indispensable.

A strong economy leads to a strong state, and a strong state weakens the designs of its enemies.

The war against terrorism is not only fought on borders but also on the fronts of political stability, economic development, public trust, and national unity.

Today, as many homes prepare for Eid, countless others will observe mourning instead of celebration. Children will spend Eid without fathers or brothers, and mothers will hold onto the belongings of their martyred loved ones with tears in their eyes. The entire nation must realize that peace is one of the greatest blessings a country can have. These martyrs are not just a loss for individual families—they are a collective national tragedy.

Quetta is mourning, Balochistan is grieving, and in truth, the entire Pakistan is in sorrow. But nations do not survive on tears alone; they rise through unity, determination, justice, and unwavering resolve. This is the time for Pakistan to stand together as one nation against hatred, division, and terror, and to secure a safer and more dignified future for coming generations.

May Allah Almighty grant the highest ranks in Paradise to all those who lost their lives in this tragic incident, grant speedy recovery to the injured, give patience to the bereaved families, strengthen our Armed Forces and security institutions, and bless Pakistan with lasting peace, stability, progress, and prosperity.
