VIENNA, (Muhammad Amir Siddique) – A dignified ceremony was held on the completion of the first anniversary of the success of Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos, also known as Marka-e-Haq organized by the Embassy of Pakistan in Vienna the capital of Austria.

The Pakistani and international community paid tribute to the government of Pakistan, the officers and soldiers of the Pakistani army and the Pakistani people for the brilliant victory of the Pakistani army against India.

While a special documentary film based on the successes of the Marka-e-Haq was also shown. Slogans of Pakistan Zindabad, Pak Fauj Payandabad were raised at the ceremony.

The ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Manzoor Ahmed Butt, and the famous European Naat Khawan Ghulam Mustafa Naeemi had the privilege of reciting Naat. Earlier, Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of Pakistan, Adeel Ahmed Khan Afridi, acting as the Stage Secretary, congratulated all the guests on the completion of one year of the success of the Marka-e-Haq Bunyan-un-Marsoos.

A large number of Pakistani dignitaries, political, social and business Community figures from the international community and other cities across Austria attended the event and paid tribute to the military leadership, soldiers and martyrs of the Pakistani Armed Forces.

His Excellency Ambassador of Pakistan Mohammad Kamran Akhtar said in his address that the Marka-e-Haq Bunyan-un-Marsoos is a bright symbol of faith, unity and national solidarity. He paid tribute to the brilliant success of the Pakistani Armed Forces against India and criticized the unjustified allegations made by the Indian government against Pakistan at the diplomatic level to the world community and said that the baseless allegations of self-styled Indian terrorism like Pelgam in Jammu and Kashmir have exposed the cunning face of India before the whole world. The Ambassador of Pakistan, while expressing his thoughts in detail regarding the spirit of faith, patriotism and national defense, congratulated the entire nation on this great success. He further said that the entire world, including Austria, is aware of the complete victory of the Pakistani army in the war against India. This was possible due to the full trust of the Pakistani people in the Pakistani army and the excellent military strategy.

Among the participants, the international community, important Kashmiri and community leaders strongly condemned the allegations made against Pakistan by the Indian government over the Pelgam in Jammu and Kashmir incident in their respective speeches. They paid tribute to the Pakistani leadership for achieving victory against India through its excellent war strategy.

The speakers who addressed the ceremony included Professor Dr. Ezzat Awad, Head of the Department of Egypt at the Medical University of Vienna, Allama Ghulam Mustafa Baloch, President of Pak Friends Austria, Chairman Kashmir Freedom Front Austria, Professor Musarat Shaukat Awan,Pakistani social leader Irfan Shahid from the city of Linz, and various speakers.

At the end of the ceremony, special prayers were offered for the security, progress of Pakistan, and the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs.
