Newly Appointed Pakistani Ambassador to Switzerland Meets Senior Journalist Imran Muzammal

Bern, (Special Correspondent) — Pakistan’s newly appointed Ambassador to Switzerland, Dr. Marghoob Saleem Butt, held a special meeting with senior journalist Imran Muzammal. On this occasion, Mr. Muzammal warmly welcomed the ambassador and presented him with a bouquet of flowers.

During the meeting, both discussed in detail the challenges faced by the Pakistani community residing in Switzerland. Ambassador Butt assured that addressing the concerns of overseas Pakistanis is among his top priorities, and the embassy will offer its full support in resolving their issues.

He emphasized that his foremost goal is to play an active and supportive role for the Pakistani diaspora in Switzerland, ensuring they feel closely connected to their embassy.

The discussion also included efforts to enhance trade relations between Pakistan and Switzerland. Ambassador Butt noted that Pakistan offers various opportunities for foreign investment and expressed commitment to encouraging Swiss companies to explore business avenues in the country.

Moreover, the importance and impact of digital media were also highlighted. The ambassador remarked that:

“Media plays a vital role in shaping national narratives and highlighting public issues. Its positive influence must be strengthened further in today’s digital era.”

The meeting concluded on a positive and cordial note, with both individuals expressing their intent to continue working together for the welfare of the Pakistani community in Switzerland.
