Brussels, (Unib Rashid) – During his visit to Brussels, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar arrived today at NATO Headquarters, where he was received by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the regional situation as well as key global and regional security issues of mutual interest. Presenting Pakistan’s perspective on regional developments, the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister underscored the importance of dialogue, diplomacy, and adherence to international laws and agreements.

He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to playing a constructive role in promoting peace, stability, and prosperity in South Asia.
Both sides also exchanged views on various aspects of strengthening cooperation between Pakistan and NATO.

Foreign Secretary Aamirah Baloch and Pakistan’s Ambassador to the European Union, Belgium, and Luxembourg, Rahim Hayat Qureshi, were also present during the meeting.
