Brussels/Islamabad, (Unib Rashid) __ A heart-warming and inspiring visit was made to the cricket coaching camp for hearing-impaired girls established by the Directorate General of Special Education (DGSE) in collaboration with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) at the National Special Education Centre for Hearing Impaired Children.
The camp highlighted the immense talent and enthusiasm of young hearing-impaired girls who participated with remarkable energy, confidence, and joy. Their performance served as a powerful reminder that disability is no barrier to excellence in sports.
The initiative reflects a strong institutional commitment to empowering persons with disabilities through structured sports programs. Both DGSE and PCB were applauded for their dedication to fostering inclusive environments and expanding access to athletic opportunities for differently-abled individuals.
It was emphasized that inclusive sports initiatives play a vital role in building confidence, promoting independence, and strengthening social integration.
