London, (Shahzad Ali) __ A significant reception was organized in Luton by Israr Ahmed Raja, Vice President of the Pakistan Press Club UK, to honor Ms. Imtiaz Naseem, Minister of the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Cell (Government of Azad Jammu & Kashmir).
The event drew notable personalities from various sectors including media, politics, and community service. Among the attendees were Raja Shafiq Palhalvi, Head of Media Coordination for PML-N AJK UK; respected community leader Raja Sagheer Khan; former President of the Press Club, Nishat Sani; and rising political advocate Raja Taimoor Shaheen.
Guests were greeted warmly by prominent community figures such as Raja Haq Nawaz Janbaaz, Hafiz Raja Tauqeer Khan (President, PML-N Youth Wing), Raja Shakeel Khan, Mahmood Iqbal (brother of Col. (R) Raja Ayub Khan), former Mayor of Luton Raja Waheed Akbar, Raja Zafar Iqbal (brother of Kargil war martyr Capt. Raja Javed Iqbal Shaheed), and Raja Zulfiqar, contributing to a vibrant atmosphere of solidarity.
During the ceremony, journalist Israr Ahmed Raja presented his insightful book, “Kashmir Ka Almiya” (The Tragedy of Kashmir), to Ms. Imtiaz Naseem, alongside two notable publications by Col. (R) Raja Ayub Khan. This thoughtful gesture highlighted Ms. Naseem’s dedication to literature and her commitment to fostering educational dialogue.
Attendees took a moment to offer prayers and express condolences for the recent losses in the community, honoring the memory of Raja Haq Nawaz Janbaaz’s mother and Israr Ahmed Raja’s father. A special prayer (Fatiha) was held for their souls, reflecting the strong communal bonds and the support of families during difficult times.
