London, (Shahzad Ali) __ A spiritually uplifting gathering took place at the Central Jamia Mosque Luton to commemorate the annual Urs of two prominent Islamic figures—Hazrat Mujaddid Alf Sani and Ala Hazrat Imam Ahmed Raza Khan Barelvi (RA).
The event was hosted and conducted by the mosque’s Imam, Maulana Hafiz Eaz Ahmad, who warmly welcomed scholars, guests, and attendees. He also expressed gratitude on behalf of the mosque committee president and all members to those who participated in the gathering.
The program began with a beautiful recitation from the Holy Qur’an by Maulana Qari Ajmal Raza Qadri. The event was further graced by the presence of Sahibzada Anwar-ul-Islam of Gulshan-e-Sultania, whose arrival added a distinct spiritual atmosphere to the proceedings.

The keynote address was delivered by Sahibzada Shaykh Anwar-ul-Haq Qadri of Astana Aliya Naqshbandia Qadria, Dhangri Sharif, and Principal of Jamia Sifat-ul-Islam, Bradford. He shed light on the immense scholarly contributions of Ala Hazrat Ahmed Raza Khan Barelvi and urged the youth to embrace the universal message of Islam. He encouraged them to actively participate in propagating Islamic teachings and to follow in the footsteps of the saints and scholars.
Renowned Pakistani naat khawan Al-Haaj Muhammad Owais Raza Qadri captivated the audience with his melodious praises of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. His heartfelt rendition drew enthusiastic appreciation and applause from those in attendance.
Maulana Hafiz Arafat Ahmad spoke about the religious services of Hazrat Mujaddid Alf Sani, highlighting his role in the revival of Islamic values. Other scholars present included Maulana Qasim Hussain, Maulana Usman Farooq, Maulana Riyasat, Maulana Saqib Madani, Maulana Zubair from Aylesbury, and Maulana Ahmad Shah from Slough, among many others.
Distinguished guests included Haji Chaudhry Muhammad Qurban, Chairman of the Mirpur International Airport Movement UK & Europe, Haji Chaudhry Muhammad Shafaat Pothi, President of the Central Jamia Mosque Luton Committee, Vice Presidents Pahalwan Malik Pannu Khan and Chaudhry Muhammad Nisar, as well as Chaudhry Shabbir, Chaudhry Afraz Iqbal, Amjad Sahib, Prof Ch Imtiaz Hussain and many local community members.
At the conclusion of the event, langar (blessed food) was distributed to all attendees.
