Afzal Khan Raises Alarm Over “Genocide” Concerns, Urges Immediate Action.

London, (Unib Rashid) — Member of Parliament Afzal Khan has expressed grave concern over what he described as a worsening humanitarian crisis, warning that signs of “genocide” are becoming increasingly visible and cannot be ignored.

Speaking in a recent statement, Khan emphasized that the situation reflects a severe breakdown in human security, adding that both global and regional responses have so far fallen short. He noted that the ongoing developments are not only alarming from a humanitarian perspective but also raise serious moral and political questions for the international community.

Khan highlighted that there appears to be a lack of meaningful accountability, with little visible effort to properly acknowledge or address the scale of the crisis. He suggested that the failure to act decisively risks normalizing violence and suffering, particularly for affected civilian populations.

Referring to Pakistan and its global diaspora, he stressed that there is a growing sense of frustration over the absence of strong, unified advocacy. He called for greater awareness and engagement, urging stakeholders to take a clearer stance on the issue.

The MP also warned that continued inaction could embolden further aggression, potentially allowing certain actors to pursue their objectives without facing consequences. He argued that only immediate and concrete measures can help prevent further escalation and loss of life.

Khan concluded by underlining the urgency of the situation, stating that the international community must move beyond rhetoric and take practical steps to address what he described as an unfolding humanitarian tragedy.
