He expressed these views while addressing a ceremony hosted in the European capital Brussels by Chairman of Kashmir Council EU, Ali Raza Syed. Syed Qamar Raza stated that Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir is not only the commander of Pakistan’s armed forces but also a leading figure for the Muslim world.
He said that Pakistan’s success in the “Battle for Truth” under the leadership of Field Marshal Asim Munir was a blessing for which the nation could never be grateful enough. According to him, the stature and recognition Pakistan has attained today is what the nation had been waiting for during the past 77 to 78 years.
Calling overseas Pakistanis the country’s true asset, he said expatriate Pakistanis have so far sent more than 38 billion dollars in remittances during the current fiscal year, adding that the figure could rise to 41 billion dollars with collective effort. He emphasized that Pakistan is a blessing and that the nation needs confidence instead of despair.
Syed Qamar Raza said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir, Pakistan demonstrated its determination against a much larger adversary, proving that the country should never be underestimated. He stated that because of this resolve, the enemy that launched attacks based on false narratives faced defeat, while Pakistan, once accused of terrorism, has now emerged as a symbol of peace.
He urged overseas Pakistanis to remain united, saying that their unity has encouraged the Government of Pakistan to introduce more facilities and reforms for them.
He revealed that the government has established a high-level task force to address the issues faced by overseas Pakistanis and is taking further practical measures. Special courts for overseas Pakistanis have already been introduced, which will decide cases within 90 days, while only one appeal against their verdicts can be filed in the High Court to prevent lengthy legal complications.

He further stated that NICOP holders would now be treated as tax filers, and once land records across Pakistan are fully computerized, property transactions would also be conducted online. In addition, a dedicated clearing house is being developed for overseas Pakistanis.
Syed Qamar Raza informed the audience that this year, 15 overseas Pakistanis have been nominated for various national awards by the Government of Pakistan, describing it as a highly encouraging development that should continue in the future. He added that all these initiatives are aimed at restoring the confidence of overseas Pakistanis and facilitating investment opportunities in Pakistan.
He also reaffirmed his commitment to continue serving overseas Pakistanis as long as their voices are heard and valued.
Earlier, social figure Sardar Siddiq Khan paid tribute to Syed Qamar Raza’s services for overseas Pakistanis, calling him a selfless representative of the overseas community. He praised Field Marshal Asim Munir and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for their leadership, stating that their role in the “Battle for Truth” had restored hope among Pakistanis. He also acknowledged the sacrifices of the Pakistan Armed Forces and expressed heartfelt gratitude to them.
Host of the ceremony and Chairman Kashmir Council EU, Ali Raza Syed, welcomed Syed Qamar Raza and described him as an outstanding leader for overseas Pakistanis. Through him, he conveyed thanks to Pakistan’s political and military leadership, particularly Field Marshal Asim Munir.

Ali Raza Syed said that after the “Battle for Truth,” not only had the morale of Kashmiris risen significantly, but voices from Kashmir and Pakistan were now being taken more seriously across Europe, where a noticeable shift in attitudes could be observed.
He assured that overseas Pakistanis would continue playing their full role in strengthening Pakistan’s economy.
Bilal Chishti, spiritual head of Ajmer Sharif, also addressed the gathering and termed Pakistan essential for safeguarding the dignity and honor of Muslims across the region.
