Request for Exclusion from the UK

London, (Shahzad Ali) __ Watford councillor Asif Khan has urged Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood to take immediate action against American national Ms. Gomez, calling for her deportation and a ban on her future entry to the UK after she appeared at the “Unite the Kingdom” rally in London alongside far-right activist Tommy Robinson.

In his letter to the Home Secretary, Cllr Khan expressed alarm at Gomez’s association with Robinson, a figure well known for extremist views, and warned that her rhetoric posed a direct threat to public order and community safety.

He cited a catalogue of incidents demonstrating Gomez’s history of inflammatory and dangerous statements targeting Muslim, immigrant, and Black communities. Among them were her use of a flamethrower to burn a copy of the Holy Qur’an while declaring she would “end Islam in Texas,” the disruption of a Muslim civic event in which she tore off a hijab while branding Islam “the religion of rape, incest, and pedophilia,” and video footage in which she threatened that “daughters will be raped and sons beheaded unless we stop Islam once & for all.”

According to Asif Khan, at the London rally, Gomez told crowds: “England belongs to the English… If these rapist Muslims take over, they will behead your sons… we are warriors of Jesus Christ.”

Cllr Khan argued that such remarks go far beyond free speech, amounting instead to deliberate incitement to hatred. He warned that permitting individuals like Gomez to operate in Britain risks emboldening extremists and fuelling hostility against British Muslims and minority groups.

He added that while the vast majority of people in the UK are decent, tolerant and respectful, a vocal minority is seeking to spread racism, Islamophobia, and hate. Progressive politicians, he stressed, must work together across parties to confront this growing tide.
