VIENNA, (Muhammad Amir Siddique) __ Dr Raja Ali Raza Anwar, Chairman, Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission, & Mr Hua Liu, IAEA Deputy Director General and Head of the Department of Technical Cooperation, signed Pakistan’s Country Programme Framework (CPF) for the period of 2026-2031.

Through new CPF, Pakistan further strengthens its partnership with The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) intergovernmental organization in the areas of food & agriculture, health, water, energy, and nuclear safety—driving sustainable development through the peaceful applications of nuclear technology.

A CPF is the framework for the medium-term planning of technical cooperation between a Member State and The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) intergovernmental organization and identifies priority areas where the peaceful application of nuclear technology & technical cooperation will be directed to sustainable development.
