Brussels, (Unib Rashid) – The European Union has announced €1 million in emergency assistance for Pakistan in the wake of the devastating floods.
EU’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs, Kaja Kallas, said in a post on social media platform X that the European Union stands with Pakistan during this difficult time.
She added that she had spoken with Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar to express condolences over the tragic loss of lives.
According to Kallas, the EU will provide €1 million to support healthcare services, clean water and sanitation, as well as relief efforts for the flood-affected population.
