Community figures Express Condolences on the Passing of Chaudhry Lal Hussain Olker

London, (Shahzad Ali) __ Chaudhry Lal Hussain Olker, a well-known social figure from Luton, passed away in his ancestral village, Olker Sarhoota No. 2, Kotli, Pakistan.Condolences were expressed by prominent personalities from both Pakistan and the United Kingdom. From Islamabad, Brigadier (Retd) Zafar Iqbal Thathal, recipient of the Sitara-i-Imtiaz, conveyed his sympathies. In the UK, Lord Qurban Hussain, life peer in the House of Lords and recipient of the Sitara-i-Quaid-i-Azam, also expressed his sorrow over the loss.

Other notable figures offering condolences included the Khateeb of Luton Central Mosque, Allama Hafiz Ejaz Ahmed; Pakistan Peoples Party Luton leader Chaudhry Muhammad Azeem; Tahir Chaudhry; Yasir Chaudhry; Atif Ayoob Sabri; academic Jamil Ahmed; intellectual Syed Hussain Shaheed Sarwar; Chaudhry Sultan Mahmood; and Shakil-uz-Zaman of Minhaj-ul-Quran International.

A large number of community elders and members also expressed grief and extended their prayers for the departed soul.
