Empowering Youth and Women: A Call to Action from High Commissioner Dr. Mohammad Faisal

London, (Shahzad Ali) __ At a recent gathering organized by the Milton Keynes Pakistan and Kashmir Welfare Association, Pakistan’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Dr. Mohammad Faisal, delivered an inspiring message focused on the empowerment of women and youth within the British Pakistani community. This significant event took place at the Milton Keynes City Council and was attended by numerous community leaders, professionals, and businesspersons.

The Deputy Mayor of Milton Keynes City Council, Councillor Paul Trendall, warmly welcomed Dr. Faisal and acknowledged the substantial contributions of the local Pakistani community to the city’s development and prosperity. He encouraged community members to actively participate in shaping Milton Keynes’ future.

During his keynote address, Dr. Faisal highlighted the dynamic growth of Milton Keynes as one of the UK’s most innovative cities, which is characterized by its strategic vision and inclusive approach. He referred to British Pakistani leaders as “cultural ambassadors,” acknowledging their resilience and unwavering commitment to enriching both British society and their homeland.

Emphasizing the need to spotlight the accomplishments of British Pakistani women, Dr. Faisal noted that the strength and dignity of the diaspora reflect their efforts and successes. He passionately urged community leaders to continue building a positive image of the community through their contributions in various sectors such as education, healthcare, business, and public service.

Dr. Faisal articulated a vision for empowering the younger generation while preserving cultural heritage and identifying new opportunities within Pakistan’s emerging economy. “Pakistan is a land of vast potential,” he remarked, stressing the crucial role that the overseas Pakistani diaspora can play in driving the country’s development.

Prominent figures from the community, including Chaudhry Muhammad Asghar, Umair Sarwar, Chaudhry Tanveer Munawar, Raja Taj Mehmood, Chaudhry Ubaid-ur-Rehman, Councillor Naseem Khan, and Neelam Shiraz, also addressed the audience, reaffirming their commitment to fostering strong ties between the UK and Pakistan.
