Brussels/Paris, (Unib Rashid) – Fifty-six food companies from Flanders, Belgium, showcased their products at SIAL Paris, one of the world’s leading international food industry exhibitions, highlighting the region’s diverse food sector to buyers, distributors and potential business partners from around the world.

The five-day exhibition provided Flemish businesses with an opportunity to present their products to an international audience, establish new commercial contacts, strengthen existing relationships and explore opportunities in overseas markets.

The participating companies represented a broad range of food industries, including chocolate and confectionery, frozen foods and premium meat products, demonstrating the diversity of Flanders’ food production sector.

Flanders Investment & Trade (FIT), the regional agency responsible for supporting international business development and export promotion, helped participating companies access international markets through its collective exhibition stands.

The initiative enabled businesses to introduce their products to a wider audience and engage directly with potential customers, distributors and commercial partners, supporting their efforts to expand beyond domestic markets.

SIAL Paris serves as an important meeting point for the global food industry, bringing together businesses and professionals to explore market trends, develop partnerships and identify new commercial opportunities.

Flanders Investment & Trade thanked the participating companies, its teams and partner organisations for their contributions to the exhibition.

The agency also encouraged businesses interested in opportunities in France to follow its Flanders Investment & Trade – France showcase for updates and information about the French market.

The participation of 56 Flemish food companies underlines the importance of international trade fairs in promoting regional food products, strengthening business networks and supporting export growth.
