Brussels/Islamabad, (Unib Rashid) – Pakistan has joined the international community in observing World Humanitarian Day, paying tribute to humanitarian workers around the world for their courage, dedication and sacrifices in assisting communities affected by conflict, disasters and other crises.
In a message marking the day, Pakistan said it honors the commitment and bravery of humanitarian workers who continue to serve vulnerable populations under challenging and often dangerous circumstances.

Pakistan reaffirmed its commitment to promoting human dignity, global solidarity and humanitarian principles, emphasizing that its approach is guided by the country’s constitutional ethos and its longstanding support for vulnerable communities.
The message underscored the importance of international cooperation and collective efforts to address humanitarian challenges, protect vulnerable populations and ensure that assistance reaches those most in need.
Pakistan also recognized the sacrifices of humanitarian personnel who work on the front lines of crises worldwide, often risking their own lives while providing essential relief, protection and support to affected communities.
On World Humanitarian Day, Pakistan reiterated its resolve to contribute to global humanitarian efforts and advance the principles of compassion, solidarity and respect for human dignity.
