Brussels, (Unib Rashid) – European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen held a meeting with the Secretary General of NATO to review joint efforts aimed at strengthening European defense and continuing support for Ukraine.

She stated that discussions focused on the upcoming NATO summit and ways to increase defense industrial production across Europe.

“We need to invest more, produce more, and do both faster,” she emphasized.

In light of rising global security threats, both sides agreed to work closely in the coming weeks to further strengthen EU-NATO relations and prepare for a successful summit in Ankara.
