Jhelum, (Special Correspondent) — Jhelum Foundation Mobility Services organized a simple yet meaningful ceremony in Kontrali village, during which 25 wheelchairs and 21 sewing machines were distributed among deserving individuals. The sewing machines included one commercial sewing machine, aimed at empowering beneficiaries by providing opportunities for self-employment and sustainable livelihoods.
The event was attended by social workers, local dignitaries, philanthropists, and members of the community. On this occasion, appreciation was expressed for the dedicated efforts of Chaudhry Abdul Rafiq, Chaudhry Anwar Yaqoob, Jameel Bhatti, and other benefactors for their valuable contributions in making the initiative a success.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, Chaudhry Abdul Rafiq hosted a meal in honor of the participants and the recipients of the wheelchairs and sewing machines. Speakers praised Jhelum Foundation Mobility Services for its commendable welfare activities and expressed hope that such humanitarian efforts would continue in the future to support underprivileged segments of society.
