Jhelum Foundation inaugurates new office, signs MoU with Devotion for social and welfare cooperation

Jhelum/Brussels, (Hafiz Unib Rashid) __ The new office of Jhelum Foundation has been formally inaugurated in Jhelum. The inauguration ceremony took place last days , marking a new chapter in the organization’s community service initiatives.

During the event, Jhelum Foundation and Devotion signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on various social and welfare projects. The partnership aims to create a positive impact on the lives of people in Jhelum through joint efforts in public service and development work.

It was highlighted that Jhelum Foundation is a registered charity in Pakistan, officially recognized by the Charity Commission under the name Jhelum Foundation instead of Jhelum Forum.

On the other hand, Devotion is also a registered charity organization led by CEO Professor Chaudhry Azam, who is also a member of the Jhelum Forum Canada Branch. Participants noted that Professor Azam’s experience, vision, and leadership will significantly strengthen the mission of Jhelum Foundation.

The MoU was signed by Brigadier Tassawur Hussain and Professor Chaudhry Azam, with Dr. Ismat Javed and Advocate Abid Butt also present on the occasion. The ceremony was conducted by Advocate Tahir Shah, while Advocate Ilyas Gondal briefed the attendees on the objectives of the MoU and expressed gratitude to all members and guests for their participation.

He also thanked Chaudhry Zumurrad for providing the venue and hosting the event, calling it “a moment of celebration.” Gondal added that he hopes Jhelum Foundation will continue to advance its mission of serving the people of Jhelum with renewed energy and commitment.
