5th August, Exploitation Day Kashmir Black Day Kashmir Solidarity Day

Instead of keeping a minute’s silence, let Kashmir’s voice be heard openly and openly to the world. With regard to today’s day, it must be understood that the continuous sacrifices and struggle of the people of Kashmir are the guarantee of their freedom. Every member of the Pakistani nation is with the Kashmiris.

Pakistani nation celebrates as Exploitation Day of Kashmir. The day is observed on 5th August 2019 to condemn the unjust and cruel move of India to end the special status of the occupied state under Articles 370 and 35-A of the Constitution of India and make it a part of India. was made a regular part. It has been 75 years since the usurpation and unjust occupation of Occupied Kashmir by India. This issue is not a regional issue, but an international one, and according to the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council, it is possible only through an impartial referendum.

The issue was also taken to the United Nations by India, where a resolution recognized the right of self-determination of the people of Occupied Kashmir and said that both India and Pakistan should ensure that the people of Occupied Kashmir have a referendum. They should be given the right to decide for themselves whether they want to be a part of India or Pakistan. India, Pakistan and the Kashmiri people are all parties to this issue. India accepted this resolution but is not ready to implement it even after 75 years. India had given a special status to the Occupied State in its constitution, under which the people of Occupied Kashmir, being a special territory, enjoyed certain concessions.

On August 5, 2019, the extremist government of Narendra Modi suddenly passed a constitutional amendment through the Parliament, under which Articles 370 and 35-A of the Constitution were abrogated, under which the special status of Occupied Kashmir was also changed. This act was illegal, but it was also a clear violation of the United Nations resolutions, because according to these resolutions, the status of the occupied territory cannot be changed until the solution of the Kashmir issue, and this just solution is only independent. It is possible only through the referendum.

The international community and institutions should put India in the dock for this lawlessness and oppression. After this decision, non-Kashmiris can also buy land in Occupied Kashmir, which is happening now. Apart from this, thousands of non-Kashmiris have been given domicile. Ladakh, which is a part of Occupied Kashmir under this dispute, has now been given a separate status and placed under the control of the Centre. All this is being done under a well-thought-out plan whose main objective is to change the population ratio in Occupied Kashmir to turn the Muslim majority into a minority. A commission was formed for new constituencies in the area, headed by a Hindu retired judge from Mumbai, while two members of a puppet political party like the National Conference were nominated as members.

As expected, this commission has submitted its recommendations under which the number of seats in the Assembly of Occupied Kashmir has been increased from 37 to 43 for Jammu, which is a Hindu-majority region, while the number of seats for the Muslim-majority Kashmir valley has been increased. The number has been increased from 46 to 47 thereby adding one seat to Valley while 6 seats have been added to Jammu. This process of changing the population ratio is a clear violation of the Geneva Convention. Under this plan, an attempt will be made to bring a Hindu Chief Minister in the first phase, after which the ratio will be gradually changed so that if a referendum is ever held, the number of Muslims will be in the minority. The international community is usually silent on the unjust action, but the behavior of the government of Pakistan has also been disappointing. In order to highlight such a big step, after which the status of the occupied territory is gradually changing, which will have a direct impact on the resolution of this conflict, and to record its strong protest, Pakistan should conduct aggressive diplomacy around the world. It was supposed to expose India to the world, but unfortunately Pakistan’s reaction was limited to statements and a few resolutions passed by its parliament. Contrary to the claims of the then Prime Minister Imran Khan, he did not visit any foreign countries, nor did he tell the international leadership about his position. On the contrary, the Government of India is proceeding according to its set agenda. The important members of the Hurriyat leadership who had great devotion to Pakistan have either left this world or are imprisoned, a living example of which is Mr. Yasin Malik who was recently unjustly sentenced to life imprisonment.
