London: The High Commissioner of Pakistan to the United Kingdom, Dr Mohammad Faisal, engaged with a delegation from the Youth Parliament of Pakistan (YPP), led by Ubaid Qureshi, in a productive meeting.

During this interaction, the delegation provided an insightful overview of their ongoing visit to the UK, which has included constructive meetings with British parliamentarians, attendance at UK Parliament sessions, interactions with officials from the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association, and meaningful connections with young people of Pakistani descent residing in Britain.

Dr Faisal commended the enthusiasm and commitment displayed by the youth representatives and emphasized the vital role that young people—particularly young women—play in the advancement and development of Pakistan.

He encouraged the delegation to seize the opportunity of their visit to closely engage with parliamentary practices and democratic traditions in the UK, fostering ideas that can contribute to positive change back home.
