Vienna – Muhammad Amir Siddique the first Pakistani journalist to complete the journalist training program by the Vienna LPD Police Department.

Vienna : _ The Vienna Police organized a training program for journalists entitled “Journalists’ Conduct in Gatherings”. The training took place on Tuesday, March 25, in the command room of the Vienna Police Department Command Center (LPD), on the top floor, in the Schottenring first district of Vienna. Registered journalists from all over Austria of the Austrian Journalists’ Club participated in the training. Rallies and demonstrations often provide opportunities for confrontation between participants, journalists and law enforcement agencies.

The task force of the police department (Officer Colonel Rudolf Haas) informed the journalists about safety training. Further, he gave a detailed explanation on the big screen about how drones work in Vienna and what laws apply to journalists. He said that journalism is present in all fields. And for this, etiquette, training, code of conduct and education are also needed. Our department makes every effort to walk together with journalists and cooperate.

It should be remembered that this training program was of five hours. In which the first Pakistani journalist Muhammad Amir Siddique, who is registered in Austria, was invited by the Austrian Journalists Club and the Vienna Police to come and be a part of this training program. Where he was also specially given a certificate.

A question and answer session was also held on this occasion. At the end of the training program, the Austrian Journalists Club thanked the Police Department for providing these opportunities to the journalists and pledged to work together with the journalists.
