US Counter terrorism Director Joe Kent Resigns Over Iran War Dispute.

Brussels, (Unib Rashid) _ Joe Kent, Director of the National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC), has resigned from his position over the ongoing conflict involving Iran.

Sharing a copy of his resignation letter on X, Kent stated: “After careful consideration, I have decided to resign as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective immediately.”

He further wrote that he could not, in good conscience, support the ongoing war in Iran. According to him, Iran poses no direct threat to the United States, and he claimed that the conflict was initiated under pressure from Israel and its influential lobby in the US.

Kent added that it had been an honor to serve under his leadership and to guide the professionals at NCTC. He concluded his message with the words: “God have mercy on America.”
