Sea Green Enterprises Acquires Mitsubishi Corporation’s Share holding in Engro Polymer.

Brussels/Karachi, (special correspondent) __ Pakistan – In a significant recent development, Mitsubishi Corporation has formally disinvested its shareholding in Engro Polymer. The shares have been acquired by Pakistan-origin companies, including Sea Green Enterprises, through a privately negotiated transaction.

Sea Green Enterprises has successfully concluded the agreement to take over Mitsubishi Corporation’s equity stake in Engro Polymer, marking a strategic transition in the company’s ownership structure. The acquisition reflects growing confidence of local enterprises in expanding their footprint and strengthening domestic participation in key industrial sectors.

The transaction was completed through private negotiations between the parties and represents a smooth and mutually agreed transfer of shareholding.

This development underscores the continued evolution of Pakistan’s corporate landscape, with local companies playing an increasingly prominent role in driving growth, investment, and operational expansion.

On the other hand, Unib Rashid, Chairman of the Pak-Benelux Overseas Chamber of Commerce and Industry based in the European capital Brussels, congratulated Sea Green CEO Asim Abrar on the deal and prayed for his further success.
