Protest Held in Brussels for Release of JKLF Chairman Yasin Malik.

Brussels, (Unib Rashid) __ A protest demonstration was held in Brussels demanding the release of Yasin Malik, Chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), with a large number of participants in attendance.

According to details, the protest was organized by various pro-freedom Kashmiri organizations in front of the Indian Embassy in Brussels to call for the release of Yasin Malik, who is currently imprisoned in India.

Demonstrators carried photographs of Yasin Malik and placards bearing slogans against his detention and in support of the freedom of Kashmir. Throughout the protest, participants raised strong slogans including “Release Yasin Malik,” “Modi forces out,” and “Salute to the greatness of Maqbool Bhat.”

An interesting situation emerged during the demonstration when several European citizens joined the protesters and began chanting slogans against Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. When asked, they stated that they were also protesting against human rights violations in India.

Prominent participants included Mushtaq Diwan Koturk, Sardar Siddiq Khan, Ashfaq Qamar, Sardar Khalid Muzaffar, Nadeem Jarral, Dr. Ishtiaq (Antwerp), Malik Sabir, Shahid, Sardar Zahid, Zaheer Zahid, Tariq (Antwerp), Altaf, Naseem, Masood Mir (Antwerp), Zahid Iqbal, Mushtaq, Zulqarnain, Yousaf Bhatti, Khalid Joshi, Waseem, Shamrez, along with a large number of Kashmiris from Brussels and surrounding areas of Belgium.
