Brussels, (Unib Rashid) __ Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has departed for an official visit to Davos, Switzerland, to attend the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting 2026, being held from January 19 to 23, 2026.
The Prime Minister is accompanied by a high-level delegation, including Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Minister for Economic Affairs Ahad Cheema, Minister for Information Ataullah Tarar, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi, and other senior officials.
During the visit, the Prime Minister will engage in important diplomatic and economic activities. He is scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with heads of state and government, as well as leaders of international organizations. A key highlight of the visit will be a Business Roundtable, jointly organized by Pakistan and the World Economic Forum.
The forum will be attended by leaders of prominent global companies who are interested in exploring investment opportunities in Pakistan or expanding their existing investments in the country.
