Paris, (Sultan Mahmood) — Pakistan’s Ambassador to France, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, has highlighted the importance of people-to-people contacts in strengthening multidimensional relations between Pakistan and France, as well as Pakistan’s engagement with the wider Francophone world.
She was speaking at a reception hosted by the Pakistani Francophone Professionals Association at the Embassy of Pakistan in Paris. In her address, the ambassador shed light on the depth and diversity of Pakistan–France relations and emphasized Pakistan’s growing connections with Francophone countries.

Ambassador Mumtaz Zahra Baloch noted that while governments establish frameworks and agreements, it is professionals, academics, business leaders, and civil society representatives who translate these understandings into meaningful cooperation on the ground.
Appreciating the role of the Pakistani Francophone Professionals Association, she said the organization is actively promoting professional networking and cultural exchanges between Francophone Pakistanis and French society, thereby playing a vital role in strengthening people-to-people ties between Pakistan and France.
The event was attended by participants from various professional backgrounds, who reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing mutual cooperation and engagement.
