These elections determine representatives for city councils, municipal bodies and other local administrative positions. The Pakistani community in Germany has been steadily growing, particularly in major cities such as Frankfurt, Hamburg and Berlin. In the upcoming municipal elections, several candidates of Pakistani origin are contesting from different political parties, highlighting issues such as social services, immigration challenges and effective community representation.
Among them is Azad Hussain, a well-known and widely respected member of the Pakistani community, who has decided to contest the municipal elections from Frankfurt.
