Pakistan Embassy in Brussels Holds Webinar on Promoting Pakistani Exports to the Belgian Market.

Brussels, (Unib Rashid): The Trade Wing of the Embassy of Pakistan in Brussels organized an online briefing titled “Accessing the Belgian Market for Pakistani Exports” to help Pakistani exporters better understand trade opportunities in Belgium.

During the session, Trade and Investment Attaché Sidra Manaf delivered a comprehensive presentation to representatives of chambers of commerce, exporters, and trade associations. She outlined the dynamics of the Belgian market, highlighted priority export sectors, and discussed opportunities for expanding Pakistan’s exports to Belgium.

The briefing also covered Pakistan’s preferential GSP+ duty-free access to the European Union market and provided an overview of key EU regulatory frameworks governing product compliance, sustainability, and consumer protection. Participants were briefed on the standards and requirements necessary for successful market entry and long-term competitiveness in the European market.

At the conclusion of the session, the Development Action Plan (DAP) commended Sidra Manaf for her thorough, data-driven, and practical presentation, describing it as a valuable resource for Pakistan’s export community.

The webinar reflects the Embassy’s ongoing efforts to strengthen Pakistan’s trade ties with Belgium and support exporters in maximizing opportunities available under the European Union’s preferential trade framework.
