Brussels, (Unib Rashid) — The Embassy of Pakistan in Brussels has cancelled its National Day reception following directives from the Government of Pakistan, citing the evolving regional situation.
The reception, scheduled for April 13, 2026, at a local hotel in Brussels, was set to host representatives from European institutions and members of the international diplomatic community, who had already received formal invitations.
According to an official email sent by the embassy to invited guests, the event has been called off in light of recent developments in the region and subsequent policy measures اتخاذ کیے گئے by the Pakistani government.
“We regret to inform you that the National Day reception hosted by the Embassy of Pakistan on April 13, 2026, at Tangla Hotel has been cancelled,” the statement read. “This decision has been taken following policy measures implemented by the Government of Pakistan in response to recent regional developments.”
The embassy expressed its apologies for any inconvenience caused and conveyed its intention to host guests at a suitable occasion in the future.
