Pakistan Business Council Sharjah and Thai Pakistan Chamber of Commerce sign MoU

This MOU was signed to promote trade, investment and business ties between Pakistani businessmen in Pakistan, UAE and Thailand

Dubai, (Tahir Munir Tahir) __ A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between the Pakistan Business Council Sharjah (PBCS) and the Thai Pakistan Chamber of Commerce (TPCC) at a local hotel in Dubai, Bangkok, Thailand.

The ceremony was attended by key representatives of both organizations, while the Embassy of Pakistan in Thailand facilitated the event. The event was attended by Embassy officials led by Ms. Rukhsana Afzal, Ambassador of Pakistan to Thailand.

PBCS was represented by Syed Saleem Akhtar, Senior Vice Chairman. He stressed the importance of enhancing business cooperation between Pakistan, UAE and Thailand. He appreciated the hospitality of TPCC and the efforts of the Pakistani Embassy.

TPCC was represented by Abdul Ghaffar Warraich (President), Muhammad Asif Majeed (General Secretary), Hassan Adeel Shahzad (Executive Director), Irshad Ahmed (Founder and Executive Member), Muhammad Yousuf (Honorary Member) and Dr. Chanon Abdul Aziz Dalai (Advisor to the President).

In addition, Mumtaz Ali Khattak, Vice President Welfare, Overseas Pakistani Thai Association (OPA-TH) also attended the event.

The MoU was signed to promote cross-border trade, investment and business linkages between Pakistani businessmen in Pakistan, UAE and Thailand. The two councils agreed to joint trade delegations, business events and information cooperation projects to explore new market opportunities and further strengthen economic ties.

Senior Vice Chairman of Pakistan Business Council Sharjah said that this partnership reflects our shared vision of building a strong economic bridge between Pakistan, the UAE and Thailand. Abdul Ghaffar Warraich, President of the Thai Pakistan Chamber of Commerce, said that this agreement will provide new opportunities for the business communities of the three countries.

Through mutual cooperation and exchange of experiences, we will build sustainable trade relations and further strengthen the role of the Pakistani business community in Thailand. The ceremony of signing mutual agreements concluded in a pleasant atmosphere, in which the commitment to further promote economic cooperation, contacts and business relations between the three countries was expressed.
