Pabocci Congratulates Leading Pakistani Exporters on Outstanding FY 2024–25 Performance.

Brussels, (Special Correspondent) — Chairman of the Pak-Benelux Overseas Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Hafiz Uneeb Rashid, and its President Rana Javed Kausar have congratulated Pakistan’s leading exporters and institutions for their outstanding performance in the export sector during Fiscal Year 2024–25.

It is pertinent to mention that on Friday in Islamabad, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, in the presence of federal ministers, conferred awards on top-performing exporters and institutions in recognition of their exceptional contribution to national exports.

Among the top 30 exporters who received awards for their performance, the textile sector featured prominently. Shahzad Saleem Asghar topped the list with exports worth USD 616 million, followed by Humayun Javed Khan with USD 560 million, Yaqoob Ahmed with USD 420 million, Zahid Bashir with USD 381 million, Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah with USD 373 million, Mian Umar Mansha with USD 345 million, Abdul Rehman Zakaria with USD 286 million, Sohail Tabba with USD 275 million, Kashif Hanif with USD 263 million, and Rizwan Diwan with USD 263 million.

Other notable textile exporters included Sikandar Javed (USD 228 million), Sohail Tabba (USD 180 million), Asif Ali Sheikh (USD 179 million), Nasir Ali Zia (USD 173 million), Adnan Niaz (USD 168 million), Muhammad Shafiq (USD 168 million), Younis Abdullah (USD 165 million), Shahid Abdullah (USD 161 million), Malik Salamat Ali (USD 179 million), Qaiser Ahmed (USD 147 million), Aftab Gohar (USD 146 million), Ayan Abid Kamal (USD 137 million), Mian Riaz Ahmed (USD 133 million), Umair Mukhtar (USD 132 million), and Naveed Amjad, who exported textile goods worth USD 122 million.

In the chemicals sector, Siddiq Bhatti led with exports amounting to USD 254 million. In the rice export sector, Asad Fawad topped the list with USD 175 million, followed by Faisal Farooq Ghareeb with USD 155 million, Abdul Mannan with USD 139 million, and Tikka Mahal with USD 131 million.

Sector-wise award recipients also included Nauman Ahmed (cement), Farukh Ejaz (metals), Khalid Mahmood (pharmaceuticals), Masood Ismail (processed food), Syed Asad Ali Shah (tobacco), Hassan Ahsan (footwear), Khawaja Masood Akhtar (sports goods), Khizar Hayat (tyres), Musab Mian (meat exports), Zulfiqar Lasi (fisheries), Muhammad Umar Mushtaq (chemicals), Razi Rehman (auto parts), Syed Muhammad Akram (minerals), Muhammad Hassan Tauqeer (glass), Ali Faizan Shabbir (surgical instruments), Asif Peer (IT sector), and Mehrein Ubaid, who received the award in the women exporters’ category.

In the financial exporters category, awards were presented to Habib Bank Limited, Habib Metropolitan Bank, Bank Al Habib, Meezan Bank, Bank Alfalah, National Bank of Pakistan, United Bank Limited, MCB Bank, Bank of Punjab, and Allied Bank Limited.

The Pak-Benelux Overseas Chamber leaders termed the recognition of exporters a positive step towards strengthening Pakistan’s export base and expressed hope that such incentives and acknowledgements would further encourage the business community to contribute to sustainable economic growth.
