Leeds, (Zahid Anwar Mirza) __ Scientists at the American space agency NASA have revealed in a recent study that rising global temperatures and increasing solar intensity could gradually lead to the depletion of carbon dioxide molecules in Earth’s atmosphere in the distant future.
According to researchers, this process would be catastrophic for life on Earth, as plants and trees rely on carbon dioxide to produce oxygen through photosynthesis. A significant decline in atmospheric carbon dioxide and oxygen levels would make survival impossible for humans and all other living organisms on the planet.
NASA scientists warned that if current trends of climate change continue unchecked, breathing on Earth could become increasingly difficult within the next few thousand years. The study highlights that long-term environmental imbalance could disrupt Earth’s natural systems beyond recovery.
Experts have issued a global warning, urging governments and societies to stop interfering with natural ecological processes and to take immediate and effective measures to protect the environment. Failure to act, they cautioned, could cause irreversible damage to life on Earth and push the planet toward an uninhabitable future.
