Malta’s tourism group visited Pakistan, the governor of Punjab and the speaker of the Punjab Assembly met
LAHORE : A significant moment for Malta’s tourism industry unfolded as a tourist group embarked on a journey to Pakistan, marking a milestone in Malta’s travel history. The delegation, consisting of members from Swieqi United Cricket Club, including Syed Hamza Zaidi and Syed Mohsin Zaidi, alongside Maltese tourist agency global travel book owner Luke Zarb cousin, Shaun Galea, and other group members, had the privilege of a gracious meeting with the Governor of Punjab and the Speaker of the Punjab Assembly.
During the meeting, they received a warm welcome with Hi-Tea and were given a tour of the Governor House and the Punjab Assembly, setting the stage for productive discussions on enhancing tourism and stimulating economic growth in Pakistan.
Syed Hamza Zaidi, representing the Swieqi United Cricket Club, had the honour of presenting shields to both the Governor of Punjab and the Speaker of the Punjab Assembly.
The Governor of Punjab spoke highly of Pakistan, highlighting its beauty and numerous tourist attractions. He also recognized the pivotal role played by many Pakistanis in bringing pride to the country through their achievements.
The Speaker of the Punjab Assembly stressed the significance of sports across all domains, praising its crucial role in shaping society.
As the meeting concluded, the Governor of Punjab and the Speaker of the Punjab Assembly presented gifts to the delegation as a token of appreciation.
