London, (Shahzad Ali) __ The UK government has taken a significant step by officially recognizing the State of Palestine, a move that has been met with joy by Palestinians and their supporters worldwide. On this historic occasion, Luton’s former Deputy Mayor and local councillor, Zainab Raja, has praised the recognition as a crucial milestone in the ongoing pursuit of justice and peace for the Palestinian people.

In her remarks, Councillor Zainab Raja underscored the enduring challenges faced by Palestinians since 1948, which include displacement, devastation, and denial of fundamental rights. “The Palestinian people have withstood tremendous hardships, witnessing homes being demolished and families torn apart.
