Luton Community Offers Condolences to Allama Hafiz Ejaz Ahmed on the Passing of His Brother.

Luton, (Special Correspondent) __ The Imam of Luton Central Jamia Mosque, Allama Hafiz Ejaz Ahmed, has returned to the United Kingdom following the passing of his brother, Mirza Anwar Baig, in Pakistan. On Monday, a large number of members of the local community gathered to express their condolences and solidarity with him.

Those offering condolences included Haji Chaudhry Muhammad Qurban, Coordinator of the Kashmir Solidarity Campaign Luton; Academic Jameel Ahmed; Chaudhry Muhammad Nisar; former Mayor of Luton Chaudhry Muhammad Ayub, and many other prominent community figures.

The community expressed deep sorrow over the loss and prayed that Allah Almighty grants the departed soul His mercy and bestows patience and strength upon the bereaved family.
It is noteworthy that Mirza Anwar Baig was the General Secretary of Anjuman-e-Tajiran Kotli. Several personalities, including Haji Chaudhry Muhammad Qurban, stated that they stand shoulder to shoulder with Allama Hafiz Ijaz Ahmed in this time of grief. They also prayed that Allah grants the late Mirza Anwar Baig a place in Jannat-ul-Firdous.

Earlier, Chaudhry Muhammad Shafaat Pothi, President of Luton Central Mosque Management; Pehlaawan Malik Pannu Khan, Vice President; Chaudhry Muhammad Sharif, Senior Vice President of Tehreek-e-Kashmir UK; along with a large number of community members, also expressed their heartfelt condolences.

Meanwhile, condolence gatherings continue to be held in various cities across the United Kingdom, where members of the Kashmiri and Pakistani community are paying rich tribute to the late Mirza Anwar Baig for his dedicated services to the Kashmir cause and for his struggle for the rights of the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
