Jhelum Forum Manchester Hosts Special Meeting to Welcome Senior Advocate Malik Qamar Afzal and Dr Asmat Javed.

Manchester, (TW News) – Chaudhry Abdul Rafique, Chairman of Jhelum Forum Mobility Services, hosted a special meeting of the Jhelum Forum Manchester Branch at his residence to welcome Malik Qamar Afzal, Senior Advocate of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, and Dr. Asmat Javed, President of the Jhelum Forum (Jhelum Branch), during their visit to Manchester.

The gathering provided an opportunity for members to exchange views on the ongoing activities and progress of the Jhelum Forum. Updates on various projects were presented by Ch. Abdul Rafique, Sheikh Mohammed Ahmed, Jamil Bhatti, Mian Shahid, Abid Chohan, Haroon Khattana, Ilyas Gondal, and Dr. Asmat Javed.

Special guest Malik Qamar Afzal expressed his gratitude to Ch. Abdul Rafique for convening the meeting at short notice and thanked the members for their warm welcome. Attendees commended the efforts of Furrkh Siddique, Haji Zafar Iqbal, Sheikh Mohammad Ahmed, Numbradar Adnan Chohan, and Abid Chohan for their role in improving the administration of the Jhelum Forum Kasyial Medical Centre.

The meeting also acknowledged the contributions of Syed Tahir Shah Advocate, Tahir Barlas, Ch. Zumrad, Shafiq Mughal, Dr. Asmat Javed, the sports wing, and the wider Jhelum team. Appreciation was extended to the Drinking Water Team and the Jhelum Forum Dina Branch members—including Saleem Anwar Kasana, Ch. Haji Safdar, Ch. Abid Hussain, and Arbab Ahmed—for their dedication and hard work.

A special vote of thanks was offered to Brigadier Taswar Hussain, CEO of the Jhelum Foundation, for completing the registration process and opening the organization’s bank account. Malik Qamar Afzal, representing the Jhelum Forum Lawyers Wing, assured his support for strengthening and organizing the forum, particularly its legal division.

The evening concluded with thanks to Ch. Abdul Rafique for his hospitality and home-cooked buffet, and to Masood Safdar for skillfully conducting the proceedings.
